Discoloration in Fingers

Hi all! I am new to the forum, so I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this! But I have recently noticed a dark brown/orange-ish spot on my finger (not one of the fingers that I prick daily, but on the same hand). I was wondering if anyone else has come acorss this or if it is at all related to diabetes? Blood stains were something I considered, but not sure if that is possible. Also, my boyfriend said something about how it could be due to the fact that the others fingers on that hand are continually being pricked and this one isnt and maybe my body is doing something to counteract that? I have little to no medical knowledge so any advice or opinions would be great! Thanks!

Hi Maggie, for something like this, the forum can't really give you a lot of help. It's best to take it to your GP to get it diagnosed and if it is diabetes related, then we might be able to advise how to deal with it.
