Thanks
@LucySW - as I'm a beginner I'm trying to ask loads of questions and getting advice, and yes, I think it's a postural thing. I'm taking more time to warm up, which certainly helped this morning - and I think that the hours of standing ironing on a hard floor didn't count as 'rest' for my feet.
Yesterday I didn't go to the gym but had a long, busy and physical day on a job with my husband - coming home via the BIKE SHOP as a surprise! That's birthday and Christmas (not just this year!) sorted...........
Today I've been on the treadmill - I've devised this little sequence for myself, and it's challenging but doable:
5 mins walk (6.5 km/h)
5 mins run (9.5 km/h)
2 mins walk (6.5)
5 mins run (10)
3 mins walk 6.5)
5 mins run (10.5)
5 mins walk (6.5)
STRETCHED!
Then 10 lengths of the pool - it was too packed to cope with, and I did it all doggy paddle rather than alternating with sculling backstroke as I would have caused collisions and pool rage!
I feel fab! Glad I'm not due at work until 10 as am feeling a little tired after all that.
Have a great day, all!
PS Why did I wait until I was 40....?!
