Commercial pilot license type 1

I know type 1 diabetes isn't a disqualifying factor for achieving a class 1 medical in the UK (medical required for commercial aviation). But will the diabetes be a problem when searching for a job? Even if bg control is near perfect

It shouldn't be. Whether it will or not is a different question. If an airline is willing to take you on and train you then I would expect you to be fine.
