Im considering getting the dexcom G4 but i am really confused about the prices here in the uk. I saw a pdf showing the prices on another thread. But i am really unsure what this equates to in monthly cost and one off cost. Can anyone help??
How much is it all initially, how often do you have to buy transmitters recievers sensors the whole lot and how much is it roughly monthly??
Sorry for all the questions im just really confused by it all

The transmitter has a warranty of 6 months but lasts anything between 12 - 14 months. The receiver not to sure but think it's about 18 months usage. sensors are meant to last 7 days but most of us average out 21 days per sensors with many going on a lot longer.

For the G4 you will need:
1 x receiver £350 estimated lifespan 12 months (I've only had mine 8, no idea if it lasts longer)
1 X transmitter £260 estimated lifespan 6 months (it definitely lasts longer, have been using 8 months no problems)

Sensors are £51.25 each, estimated lifespan 7 days (easily get 3-4 weeks out of a sensor)

So annual cost of £3,535 if you follow the minimum lifespan or £1,500 if you stretch the sensors & transmitter

Um... Someone might want to check I've not added wrong, cos that sounds like actually a bargain ...

Where do you order them from?? I looked on dexcom site and they were more expensive than that for the sensors i think 69 something
