Type 2 Walk in Diabetes Advice Centres

Is there such a thing as the above ? As much as the Diabetes web page is very useful& been a great help for me , it would be nice to have some somewhere for instant advice . Perhaps this could be manned by part time volunteers + 1 professional or retired Pro. Perhaps a limited charity shop who could receive donations etc ;
 
I have never heard of such a facility. This website is as close as it gets.

There are other issues involved. There are as many different pieces of advice as there are advisors. Strangely the ones employed by the NHS seem bad at it. This is because they have to follow dogma passed down from their policy makers even if the individual doesn't agree with it.

If you have a burning question then try asking it on here. You never know your luck.
 
Thanks for your reply Squire . Here's a test .... What exactly is the Government target for diabetes sugar level ?
 
Best way I would say for anyone worried and needing instant advice is to go to a NHS walk in centre or make an appointment to see a doctor.
