Had my results from my recent blood test at my new doctors. Last test was 42 now I'm down to 31 my blood pressure normal and cholesterol is good. It's all down to LCHF

Thank you. I feel so much better. Walk everywhere now eat tasty food and am so much more positive

Well done.. keep it up. Great results and so quickly too..Out of interest did the Doc know how you had done it and were they interested?

I moved to another surgery as my last doctor was just rude and told me to eat rice potatoes etc. My new doctor asked what I was eating etc when I told him LCHF he was really interested and told me to carry on as I'm doing and that he was pleased with my progress

Good for you, far better to have a supportive HCP than the old fashioned 'I know whats best for you.....' type

That is so fabulous! Very, very well done @trudy1 on your diabetes control, your weight loss and your kick-a** attitude - you rock!!! Congratulations

Everyone seems nice here. I've just joined and nice to chat with decent people. Have you been here long ?

Not sure who that was addressed too.. I've been here just over 6 months and nearly everyone is extremely friendly and helpful.. you might find a few threads where some of us seem to argue but thats just spirited debate (mostly). The advice I received here has made a huge difference to my life and health and I can never say thank you enough to my fellow forum members.

People are lovely here and have helped me alot, it's here I found out about LCHF and that has helped me alot to control my diabetes. Was diagnosed in october came on here beginning of November.

@Fast_act you will find the forum a great place to get great advice and meet friendly people so if you have any questions just ask away.
That's amazing how much weight you've lost. I need to get myself sorted as been feeling unwell for a while now. My appointment with my gp is next Friday so I'm a wee bit scared to find out what could be wrong with me. I have the symptoms of hypos So we'll see what happens. Take care. Paul

Its all about knowledge and working out what is right for you. Once you've been to your GP the direction you need to take may become clearer and remember we are here for you so dont be afraid to ask questions.
