I wonder if it's down to these **** antibiotics? They do contain a lactose and a liver warning, and I have to take 8 per day. My food's been good for the past week so maybe that's why I'm getting these higher readings...?

A long distant friend fbg 7.7 this morning.
On insulin only my fbg was either high or low nothing inbetween.
Metformin and insulin average levels are now common.
I'm increasing my metformin with this evenings meal. I'm lookng forward to the weight loss. None so far.
I lost 2 stone last time (2002)

It could be. Is your infection stressing you out, without you realising?
How many days do you have to take them?
When i was 6yr old with diabetic symptoms my gp resorted to giving me antibiotics and my thrush cleared up. How strange was that? My gp in the 70s hadnt heard of type2 in kids.
