hi all,

Does anyone else suffer from the odd day where your body just seems to be craving sweet things ! And if so what's the best way to beat it. If someone put a box of 48 mars bars infront of me I could probably munch my way through the lot.

Yes! I sometimes succumb but when I do it is addictive and I want more. How do I get passed it if I do not want to give in, I drink black tea or coffee

Hi YES! YES! YES! I know where you are coming from, have found that if you make up an angel delight (the sugar free one) then freeze it or put in an ice-cream maker you fool yourself into think that you've had an ice-cream. Usually half a bowl 3/4 scoops is enough to satisfy the craving.
Good luck.

Get some Oppo ice cream, as recommended by @KevinPotts!:)

Been very bad today:)

After 3 months discipline - with minor infractions- I had my A1C and Lipids and OGTT...followed by...a bowl of salted caramel OPPO and a bowl of Mint Choc after dinner tonight...back on the wagon tomorrow:)

But Kevin aren't we allowed to have feast then famine i.e. intermittent fasting after the feast? That's what I like so much about the flexibility of the low-carb diet approach, it doesn't throw out the baby with the bathwater if you have a cheat day. After your marvellous success with fasting and the success you shared with us online, you deserve a big bowl of caramel Oppo. I just wish that I could find some where I live!
