Good Morning

Morning, my CPAP treatment started last night and think it's working as I feel fresher on waking. My head feels a bit sore with the mask. Maybe a bit too tight. I have my DSN today and the Respiratory Unit at 3pm. Cloudy and cold here. Where's summer ? :)

Good result with the CPAP Eddie - it will be even better tonight, I'm sure. Hugs x

Good morning from a miserable, rainy Central Scotland. Ah well, waterproofs on for our morning trek. Have a lovely day everyone, hope the sciatica is better Debra and allowed you to sleep, Eddie, hope the DN appointment goes well and Ron here's to a calm, heathy day for you. Barbara, hope the virus has cleared and to everyone else, hope that your day is a peaceful, pain-free one for you and sorry if I missed you out

Good morning peeps.
Grey and cloudy in S Glos this morning, but the sun is occasionally peeping through.
Sciatica has reared its ugly head Chez Debrasue today so I am having an enforced day off.
Big hugs to everyone, especially the poorly peeps, and I hope you all have a lovely day.

That's excellent news, Ron - and well done on that brilliant cholesterol result. All your hard work is paying off!
Hugs x

Just goes to show that you don't always need meds . Rons body is more than capable of doing things for it self given time.

Hiya @debrasue - Sorry to read you are suffering with a bad knee and Sciatica, it really does 'wear you down' the Sciatica! I buy those Heat Pads and wear them for up to 8 hours, as I find the heat draws out the pain and makes it more bearable. The pads only cost £1.00 from Poundstretcher, Poundworld or Home Bargains for box of 2. Or you could wrap a towel round a hot water bottle and use that.
I finish on Saturday the 4 week course of Steriod (Prednisolone) Tablets and to be honest they have done nothing except suffer with the unwanted side effects.(R says since taking the Steriods he has noticed how subdue'd I have become!!! Don't know if that is a good or bad thing??:)) But, my blood sugars are all over the place, but then that was expected. Just take things easy and don't overdo things, chill out and get your other half to fuss and pamper You. Take Care. William x:)

Thanks William - I appreciate your support.
I'm sorry to hear that the steroids haven't helped - they are horrible things to have to take. What are they proposing to do next to help you? x

Back to see the Rheumatologist on the 19th August and see what she offers/proposes to be the next course of treatment? @debrasue

Good morning, peeps!
Overcast and breezy here in S Glos this morning.
I'm having a lurk in bed with the iPad for a while this morning. Yesterday's day off seems to have improved my knee and sciatica, and I was awake at 3 am watching the bats and the shooting stars, so I'm not in any rush to get up just yet. What a huge privilege it is to have the choice! :)
I hope the poorly peeps are feeling better today, and that those with hospital/consultant/DSN appointments get some good results.
Have a great day everyone.
Big hugs x
:)

Good morning everyone, I hope you all have that Friday feeling today. Off to the dentist soon, then work and then a diabetes screening appointment and meeting two of my partners grandchildren, for the first time, feeling a little nervous :nailbiting:
Take care guys x

Morning all. Sunny in France today - our campsite survived huge winds yesterday. Sadly I have a stinking cold - anyone know the French for Lemsip?
