My Type2 Diabetes was diagnosed around this time in 2008.
I have been doing OK with medication except reduced sensitivity in soles of my feet and some discomfort in my feet.
I moved residence 5 months back and only major change in my daily exercise routine was not hanging upside down for a minute or so daily on Inversion Table.
3 months back had to see my GP as my feet began paining early morning and could see swelling on the top of the feet. There was no abnormality in my Blood Sugar levels.
I was prescribed 1 Flurosemide 40mg tablet every morning. Got second 28 days which I finished today. First 28 days I continued to take 1 Bendroflumenthiazizeide 2.5mg tablet but asked to drop it for second 28 days. This one I have been taking for almost 8 years to reduce my Blood Presssure. While giving me 2nd 28 days of Flurosemide GP referred me for Echo-Cardiogram which will be done tomorrow.
In BBC Trust Me I Am Doctor 1/9/16 show use of 20mg diluted Apple Cyder with 2 major meals was discussed and I have been taking it for 10 days now and my Feet Trouble has eased considerably.
Will try to talk to my GP or my Diabetes Nurse of my experience.
