Can someone tell me how to send PM's?

Er! The video appears to be broken!
 
It might have worked but the instructions do not relate to me. There is no Link to start a new message! I had tried all the options before starting the thread. If they are there then unfortunately I can not see them! :)
 
Can you see an envelope next to your name at the top of the page on the RHS?
Click that and you will see an oblong green box which says, "Start a conversation".
Click that and bingo.

No.. there is no green box and nothing saying Start a conversation :) I have managed to do a screen print but cannot get it to copy to here. I have it in an email if someone is willing to share their address!
 
What device are you using to access the forum? I will send you a PM to see if you can receive one.
It maybe that you need to report no access to Pm system to @Giverny.

'Fraid not! I probably have the only version with no PM facility :) Thanks for the idea though
 
And nothing happened when you did that? You didn't get a little pop-up showing information on the person?
I noticed on your screenshot that your computer were unhappy at the time (the orange triangle).
You probably already solved the problem, and it might not have had anything to do with this site, but did you restart your computer after that?

The triangle isn't indicative of an unhappy computer it is just a notification from HP. Thank you Ann :)
