I would like to make bolognese, but need to know what I can do to accompany the sauce instead of using pasta. Not salad though, I am having that as well.

thanks.

Spiralised courgette (zuccini, i think in the US?)
Spiralised butternut squash
Zero Noodles (thats a brand name because I have forgotten the ingredient in the noodles)
Seaweed (Tescos are now selling a noodle like variety fresh)
Some people can tolerate Soba noodles (buckwheat)

Hope that helps

Barenaked noodles 0.1g of carbs per100g. They also do rice as well.

A couple of boiled new potatoes - low glycemic and a member here said they were going to try legume pasta ie made with lentils or chickpeas. You could also just have a slice of rye bread. - 13 g or a couple of seeded oatcakes - 12 g.

Or just have the sauce pn it's own with grated cheese or some yoghurt!

I love them there made from soya bean flour great to be able to have a curry with rice or stir fry with noodles and best bit is 2 min in microwave and there cooked
that sounds like somthing I´d eat thank you

Shirataki noodles made from konjac flour. They come in a packet with fluid. When you drain them they smell fishy. A quick clean in water and they are fine. Virtually no carbs or calories.

I'm quite happy to eat mine "neat" or with a side serving of green veggies, but if i need something a bit more substantial than these I'll go for some cauliflower.

I'm now re-programmed to no longer need actual "direct" replacements.:D
