Problems with my butt..

So I just injected into my butt because I don't have any fat that I can pinch on my stomach and it hurts when I inject into my thigh so I thought why not..give it a try!

Everything went smoothly until I noticed that the actual needle tip was missing afterwards..it must be in my butt still..:D

Will this cause any problems? I mean it's only a tiny shard of metal right?

I won't be doing that again, I'll try my arms next time..:p

Call 111 for help and advice as an infection could be a real bummer, take care.

I was thinking of asking one of you guys to suck it out, you know, like poison with snake bites..:D

I'm sure the radiation in my body will dissolve it or something..lol

Or I could just grab a magnet :playful:

I don't think this one time should put you off from injecting there though.....this isn't normally a regular occurrence...

maybe it was just your technique as it was your first time..;)

Mr E just told me that needles can move about the body... he cited an entomologist who had one come out of his upper arm after going in his finger :cyclops:

I think you need some medical advice there mist! Did the needle stay in or did it drop off onto another surface?

I'll remember to never try that  I hope you get help to get it out... I guess leaving it in wouldn't be good. Now I worry when I see my needle bent when I pull it out.... I'd freak out if it got stuck in me I think.

Call I11 first, or make an appointment with your GP asap. if all else fails then possibly a magnet, but not a fridge magnet as they aren't strong enough ;-)

But I have seen this issue with odd loose needle in in the screw cap before...
Normally noticed when affixing to the pen.
