I've previously posted about a burning, tingling and stinging sensation in my legs. Well now, it seems to be affecting other parts of my body, although to a much lesser degree. I've had the sensation in some of my fingertips, upper arms and near my ankles. It's mainly my right leg from the knee and part way down that's almost constantly there.
My blood pressure is still high, although my blood pressure medication has been doubled after a telephone consultation with my Dr earlier in the week. My blood pressure yesterday morning, before work was 167/104 and tonight it was 177/106. My diastolic remains over 100.
I have another appointment with my Dr next week but I'm scared as to what's causing this. It's also very uncomfortable and I don't know what to do to help relieve the symptoms in the meantime. Although, there's no expectation for me to test my blood sugar (as I'm diet controlled only) I have tested my blood sugars. I had 9.3 and 9.6 and both were taken late evening. I'm not sure whether this has any bearing on it?
My husband has told me to stop googling my symptoms and said it could be a circulation issue as yes, I am quite overweight
.
Sorry to waffle on and thanks for reading.
