I have booked a flight to Seville next week for seven days, having been there in early September and having missed quite a few things to do/see/eat!

I took to gazpacho like a duck to water but suspect I might want something more substantial in the cooler climate (currently 18 degrees)

I don't eat red meat/offal or seafood. I'm okay with tuna.

Any suggestions?

Wine? I took to wine like a duck to water..........I'm not helping much am I?...............................

I know you said you don't eat red meat but what about cured meats and chorizo? oh and Olives!

Yup chorizo is tasty but i avoid processed meats. I adore, anchovies, pickles, goats cheese, cheese, omelettes. I found the bread I had ie the odd slice, was very disappointing so will take my oatcakes to bars, and even a tub of my cocoa for breakfast!

I'll be fine!

@asparagusp - how are you with things like chickpeas? You can get a sort of chickpea stew as a tapas item in many bars, which would be very comforting on a chilly day or night. And, as you mentioned, all the usual fish, cheese, chicken, nuts, olives etc.

I am also very envious of your trip!

Chickpeas rock! I'm a bit nervous again about going and kept putting buying flights off. In early September the heat was the prospective issue which frightened me. Now it's people who are getting flu! lol I even am contemplating taking up the NHS offer of a flu jab! I hate big needles!

Ah, the flu jab is but a tiny needle. You'll be OK.

I love tortillas with or without potatoes tend to have lots of peppers and onions. Lots of wonderful fish too Dorado and sardines. Hope you have a wonderful time :-)

Sound cool! Many thanks. I'll post a picture or two here when I return!

Too upsetting ..... I have seen the bull ting from outside and I was saddened and with seeing toreador costumes in the shops. Time Andalucia fell in line with other regions.

Go to a bull fight and cheer on the bull. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy for Toro.

I know very little about bullfighting. Is it a bit like boxing? But they call "time" on how much bull these Matadors can take..

I have got a pix somewhere of the bull getting a win against a toreador, bit of a low blow right below the belt so was disqualified later on appeal
