I lived in Spain for qite a few years, how about sweet peppers stuffed with crab salad, tossed prawns and peppers in garlic sauce you will find lots of goodies to eat almost as many as you could find here in France

The MIL use to have a place in Spain, totally surrounded by locals, lunch times we'd get delicious wafting smells, chicken and garlic being one of them, all sorts of amazing cooking smells use to drift around, thanks for the aide-memoire @peterjones6000 !

... But your OK with tuna! Do they do any "dolphin friendly" tuna in Spain?
Spanish Tuna always tastes different (and better) than UK bought tuna........think I've just added 2 and 2 and come up with 5..............!

Yup I had that with eggs and salad in early September. Massive portion! Wonderful!

I'm planning to have my usual breakfast and will take my tub of cocoa with me. What's the Spanish for "can you give me a cup of very hot milk?"

My good friend Mr. G. Oogle says 'Can I have a cup of very hot milk please' is:

¿Puedo tomar una taza de leche muy caliente por favor?

Of course Slip but sometimes the Google translations are suspect! It sounds about right though! Thanks.

LOL the only bit I could understand was una, leche, caliente and por favour - Brits abroad !

They do. I was there for a few days late summer so can vouch for that! Also menus outside restaurants/bars tend to give both languages. In Italy I would avoid these places as I don't want to be considered a tourist! However ..... lol
