Good Morning

5/12 - Good Morning from York, day break ought to be happening soon? Hope Everybody is well, and you all enjoy the day. Hugs to the poorly people.

Good morning from the Central belt of Scotland. Our sunrise just now is around 7.45-8am and it is dark again by 4.15pm so I'm off out for my walk now while it's light :) :) I hope that everyone has good moments today with minimal pain

Morning all suffering already managed to get appointment for docs today to get the review back to neurologist again .
Hope all are well and big hugs to all suffering @Liam1955 unfortunately William can't use the heat pads as any heat on my back and my legs won't work weird I know but it happens every time.
Keep up all that hard work you've but in and much respect for your pain threshold .

Respect to you too @eldergarth . @Liam1955 knows I'm his no.1 fan. :) :) :)

Woke to a 9.4 but not surprised. I had a late night as toddler wouldnt settle and I needed time with hubby, alone.
We have the day together. It's like having an early Christmas present. Roll on September. I'll enjoy more me and hubby only time. Now mum has a new puppy she isn't getting jealous of her 3 daughters enjoying their partners. Things are looking up. My mother can cause world war 3. I often think I've made a huge mistake trying to bond with her, in her home town. When she used to visit down south we enjoyed her more. No showing off or trouble making humf!

Morning everyone, it's a bit on the chilly side at the moment so I'm getting well wrapped up! It's a busy day today, I'm signing on this morning and this afternoon I have my first diabetic eye screening test. I had a good chat about it with Mum yesterday so I'm feeling well prepared

@eldergarth - Morning Ron and Tina, there was me telling you last evening about pain control etc and I have had a bad night. Went to bed at 2am and had to get up at 6am this morning -but, I have not touched a drop of the hard stuff = Morphine. I shall be Mr. Grumpy all day no doubt?
Are you still doing your fastings Ron? :)
Good Luck today at Doctors, let us know how you get on. William:)

Not fasting as much now have got my BG down from the 20&30's to be honest don't test as much at min it's been pushed to the back with all my other troubles but at last doc appointment asked for a full bloods test as like you concerned about my liver with all the meds it came back OK and they did hba1c and is was still 44 so don't think will bother with review in Jan don't see point know

Good morning everyone. It's still pitch black up here in Central Scotland, (8.15am) thick frost everywhere. I thought it had been snowing when I looked outside but it's just a very thick layer of frost, ah well! the morning walk will have to be delayed today, at least until it is light. I trust everyone will have a good day today

Morning all bad night last night couldn't settle this is going to be a lot harder than I thought
Have a good day everyone
Someone should be helping, surely? Can your practice nurse not give you support?
I'm not very happy about you struggling like this. Something should be done!
My gp practice could definitely shame yours. They need shaming into helping. I think because you don't live alone your not as vunerable as others so they prioritize the elderly and more vunerable Ron. I guess this is the nhs now.
My partner has different problems so he is classed as vunerable. I guess all practices have their own way of doing things. Might be worth making an appointment with practice manage to find out WHAT your gp practice CAN do for you hun?

Morning all, I'm enjoying a nice relaxed morning before I go over to Michael's flat. He's having a new water meter fitted so I'm going to do a bit of spring cleaning while we're waiting for Severn Trent to turn up
