Crack slaw !?!?

Crack slaw is one of my no-time-go-to meals. Takes minimal time to prepare, but can taste utterly amazing, depending on the spices used. The only thing I will say is though; it's no looker!

Yeah I can see it being a tasty mess ?! What spices and extras do you use @AndBreathe ?

I've used curry-type, Italian, Creol, Chinese. Just whatever I fancy. My spice rack is ginagerous. :)

I will experiment at the weekend I have quite a good spice rack too couldn't live without it
 
I'd never of thought a thread about some 'slaw' would be so funny, entertaining AND informational! :cool:

List of ingredients as follows
Mince fried off with salt pepper thyme and parsley
Then butter olive oil in another pan with onions garlic got smoked paprika ginger power coriander thyme parsley cider vinegar salt pepper cumin
Then added red cabbage white cabbage red onion red and yellow bell peppers a splash of water a few chunks of blue cheese and a glug of hot sauce
I was totally taken by surprise as to how delicious it actually was I can see why it's called crack slaw now because I want more !!!
Heroin chicken tomorrow...

That looks very appetising Terry. I made a Mexican version last night and it too was delicious. This is my new go to recipe. I already have plans for the chicken and pork versions. Many thanks for starting this thread.

It sounds a bit kinky to me and I'd be "cracked up" laughing over it too... :p:p:p

But if @Brunneria recommends it, then it must definitely be worth a try!

I made crack slaw last night after reading your thread - leek, red cabbage, diced eggplant, minced beef, blob of tomato paste, salt and pepper. Deeeelicious with a dollop of sour cream on top. Enough for lunch for the next couple of days as well.
