We Got A New Springer Pup Today :)

I love springers, I had a black and white one called Lady
Best names I heard some called
Shambles, he was a show type, very army major like
Spangles
Rannoch
Oreo

My dog (not my avatar) has my favourite dog name Kichou (key ch o) Japanese for precious.
 
what a lovely wee doggie. We're in talks as to getting another dog and so we're talking about different breeds etc. At moment I'm undecided between another German Shepherd, a Husky or another rescue greyhound.

I'd much rather have a dog companion than a human one (just dont tell the hubby lol)
 
Remember, a dog isn't just for Christmas......

It's also excellent as part of a cold collation on Boxing Day :)

PS: I hope you've got your walking shoes ready. We have friends with a Sprocker and he is (a) Bonkers and (b) Inexhaustible. Gorgeous dog, mind you. :cool:
 
We went for the name "Ghillie" in the end. For those who don't know, it's a Scottish term for a job regarding the assistance of game sports such as salmon fishing, game bird shooting and deer stalking. Thought it pretty fitting name for the breed!

Most importantly, it's also play on words for David Gilmour, the guitarist for Pink Floyd:)
