possibly injected into fatty lump

Ok, I can't find what I'm looking for..... but basically I quickly injected earlier without checking properly.... then after I took the needle out to wipe the blood off I realised I'd injected right on the border of a fatty lump which I'm assuming from what I've read somewhere is from my insulin.

Can anyone please remind me what this does? Does it mean the bolus doesn't work as well? I'm hoping it does work.

Your referring to Lipohypertrophy when you mention fatty lumps under the skin, here's an explanation on what the condition is:

In an hour you should know if the bolus dose has worked or not (hopefully it has). Take care.

Yes, I've just done a BGL test and my bolus appears to have worked. phew. I was worried though.
