Sorry if this has been asked before, did a search but could not find anything.
I was due to donate blood yesterday but it turned out I had not had enough clear days since finishing a course of antibiotics.
Before leaving the house I had thrown some nuts, cheese and an avocado
in my bag for my post donation snack knowing that biscuits and crisps are the usual offerings!
It is a couple of years since I last felt dizzy either during or after a donation but I still get the 'give extra rest / stalk her to make sure she is ok' treatment
My question is I usually eat a good amount of the offered snacks and drinks after to the donation to demonstrate I'm ok to go home
- will I be ok to eat my low carb snacks and forego the biscuits? Or do you think the staff would prefer I eat the biscuits?
