There's an App called Glimp which seems to be having a few problems at the moment. I'm not sure that I'd want a small needle in me for more than 14 days. I've not had problems in the last month but both my arms feel "bruised" so I'm having a rest for a week. I'd like to use the Libre 24 X 7 but it's a big chunk out of my pocket money. LOL

Maybe alternate weeks.
 
I've had it 2 weeks so far, and I say yes (although I wish for the love of everything that is holy that the NHS would start funding it - or at least partially funding it (I know systems hate change and take their sweet ass time doing it)). I thought I had decent control until I got it - turns out I was going low throughout most of the night and then waking up with OK blood sugars. No wonder my HbA1c wasn't too bad.... and no wonder I'd wake up feeling like **** every day even though my sugars in the morning seemed OK. Just my 2 cents anyway =)

D'ya know if this is working now? I don't mind having a needle in my arm for longer if it's going to save me significant dollar. Bet the sensor can last much longer than 2 weeks anyway, probs just a good way of making more £££ off us poor plebs.

There's a lot of different bits of info out there when you Google, even other apps. I can't allocate the time to do further research, front room has to be decorated, she that must be obeyed says so, just wish she'd choose the **** colour. LOL
 
I believe Glimp does work ok now, it's far too technical for me lol
Are you on facebook? I've been in a group for Libre users for a while, we're from all over the world so an abundance of info swapped.
There is also another group, I think they're called Libre Geeks and they would be able to give you some more info possibly?
 
Thank you!! Just had my HBA1c and it's 43 (6.1) was about to get a small bollocking off the doc but showed him my Libre app and he was fine then lol
Still won't fund it for me though boooooooo
 
Hi from France where it is pretty cold today for a change! I've not seen a diabetic specialist doctor for years, last time was years ago when we still lived in Derby. Had to wait for hours past my appointment & we agreed it was a waste of our time since I was fine. The estimated HBA1c from LibreLink on my phone is 45 (6.2). Yesterday I had a massive hypo, for me, 2.2 after evening meal due to 2 trips to the dechetterie, tip, getting shut of builders' rubble & broken breeze blocks! Seems once I'm level I stay level but if there are swings they are a struggle to correct.
Gonna see if my doctor here can prescribe Fiasp that is quicker acting than Novo Rapid that I'm on a the moment.
Woudn't be without the Libre despite the hiccups tho'. Ran out recently thanks to La Poste & hated having to finger-prick all the time.
