Some docs thinking drugs cure all
thought I'd update on my weight loss with the LCHF.
Hoping this works as I've not done it before.
I have lost about a stone and a half since beginning of Feb
I have had some treats thrown in as the change over was overwhelming in the beginning and scary to boot.

Well done.. are you going for more or are you happy with where you are?
Looking good..

Brilliant well done! :) :)

(You look just like a friend of mine called Anne.)

I've another stone and a half to go.

Oh god there is another one of me out there lol!!!!!

Hi @Dollylolly ..
Well done .. pretty **** good this LCHF stuff isn't it .. I've also lost just over 1 1/2 stone since early Feb .. and about the same as you still to go. I'll keep it up if you will ;);)

Hi and well done....

I started at 13 stone thinking it would be great to get to 12 but i thought it wasnt possible.

6 months later when I decided to buy scales and weigh myself I was 10 stone 7 lbs.

one extreme to the other, now I'm trying to gain back to around 11.5

I bet you feel much better, mentally sharper and just generally healthier than you did previously.

Recently I was obliged to have a new photograph for my work ID since I no longer look like the big guy in the original.

Hello and well done, I too have lost 1 1/2 stone since going Lchf in February when diagnosed, only another stone to go for me :)

I want in the middle range for weight and height which is 5ft 3 and 9st 7 not wanting to go lower as I'm over 50 not 21 when I was fine at 8st 7 I think I'll look scrawny.

How have you found easy or hard I was crawling the walls craving sugar the first week then I didn't care after that.

Hi @Dollylolly ..
To be honest, I think I have been very lucky .. LCHF covers pretty much all the stuff I like to eat and I have found it all fairly easy. I can't think of anything that I miss and that includes beer .. used to have 2 (sometimes 3) pints a day and now none. All that I have had is a glass of dry white wine with lunch twice since mid Feb. So all pretty straightforward really ...

I'll admit it I was a sugar junkie anything sugary and it was in my gob. So that first week was horrible but what I kept saying to myself was this
I do not want to be a blind, amputee on dialysis.
I watched that programme too with the guy that got his leg cut of and it scared me and I know it was the extreme side of it but it woke me up as I put my head in the sand for a bit till that day.

@Dollylolly
Your doing really well, I'm so jealous you got over your sweet craving, I'm still craving it since Feb, but I now have substitutes in pkace to keep me as sugar free as possible. I have decided to throw another thing in my mix and stopped smoking 4 days ago.... I just want cake now :)

Dark chocolate and berries and cream was my saviour.

Darker the better for the chocolate

I do look longingly at teacakes though. I don't buy them hecause I'd eat the box of them.
