Blood Test

I did my first test today after finding out two months ago that I have entered into type 2 and my test was 6.4 which someone said was normal. Bit confused and wonder if I have managed to reverse it with the diet I have been on

That is an impossible question to answer.

When did you take this test? Fasting? Before a meal? A specific time after a meal? Bedtime?

Are you on any diabetes medication?

You need to do properly organised tests. One before you eat. Then again an hour after first bite, then again 2 hours after first bite.
You can also do a test as soon as you get out of bed and another one just before you go to bed. These results are more likely to tell you how well you are doing and you need to record them. One random test such as the one you did tells you nothing I'm afraid.

Also, as you are on Metformin, you can't be considered in remission (reversed).

Have you seen the targets to aim for?

Thanks again and I will start properly tomorrow
