Good Morning

6/4 - Good Morning from a Sunny York. Have a good day everyone :). Hugs to the poorly people. And Hugs to @13lizanne :)x.

Spring in the UK it may be but it's summer in Granada, Spain - 27! And I was two weeks to early with my holiday there! lol

GP says I have prepateller bursitis caused by an initial trauma some years ago (fractured patella) followed by chronic trauma over the years (bumping into things) I think clambering over the rocks on holiday last week may have caused the trouble. Oh! and diabetes exacerbates the problem!!!! Didn't know that until today, what does that diabetes not do? Rest and anti-inflammatorys, no more 2x40 mins walks till better and no kneeling. Bu**er!

Oh you will have to be a 'Lady of Leisure' @13lizanne and get pampered by your lovely Family :). And do as the Doctor has said: = Rest and no kneeling! :)
(Didn't realise myself until I did my knee, just how much kneeling I do for chores etc).

My inkling had been the bursitis. I had that many years ago. Every so often I trip/slip/fall especially when I walk on cobbled slippery streets and did so whilst in the Spain the other week. My knees are sore at the moment a little. They aren't swollen though.

Rest/time are the best healers! Take care.

Good morning everyone, no walk for me this morning but have been outside to feed the birds and it's a mild spring day here in Central Scotland. Hope it's a good day for everyone.
Good luck at your hospital appointment @ickihun, we're all rooting for good news for you.

Thank you @13lizanne . I'm feeling confident! Although little one is ill so mr ickihun having to stay home to do calpol duties. :(
I think I know what it all is but I don't know what he has to do to fix it. I'm sure he can. Will quiz him as to whether I have to call ambulance still if chest pain longstanding. Neighbours are all quizzing me but I cannot tell them much. Maybe that will change today.
I'm so apprehensive I forgot to check my fbg and now have had a liver dump as no food yet.
Still losing weight. :) :) :)
Rest that knee. It will heal quicker. Tlc to you today. ;)

Good morning 13lizanne and Everyone. I'm up early to catch the glorious sunny weather! Good luck Vicky!
Thanks @PansyP . I do appreciate your best wishes. Enjoy your day. Weekend too.
Ps. Ive forgot to check fbg this morning. Im a bit topsy turvy this morning. 3yr old has nasty temperature and he's rarely needing calpol but today is one of those days!

Morning everyone, I'm sending hugs to all the poorly peeps today. @13lizanne, make sure you rest that knee and enjoy being looked after by your lovely hubby, and @ickihun I'll be thinking of you today. What time is your appointment?

7/4 - Morning from an overcast York. Hugs to @13lizanne and all the other poorly people :).
Hope all goes well @ickihun today. And everyone else enjoy your day :).
(Food Shopping this afternoon for us! - :***:)
Upgraded our Broadband yesterday and was off line for a good 5 hours with "problems" = but all has been sorted now :).

Hope everything went well yesterday @ickihun xx
I have to have an invasive angiogram :( He doesn't know what the cause is without it. It will give him a clearer picture. Trust me. I've always been difficult to diagnose. Even diabetes wasn't picked up for decades. I think I must have a very resilient body. I have trained heavily over the years. Watched my diet with my professional football ex husband. Trained with athletes and picked up a lot from them. I've been lucky. I gave up once I experienced trama after toddlers birth. I'm working through it.
Weight loss is happening, I don't really know why? Just guessing due to having enough insulin now. We'll see. I'm changing over to new insulins this week!

8/4 - Good Morning from a glorious Sunny and warm York. Hugs to all the poorly people and @13lizanne with the poorly knee.:)
Have a good day everyone.:)

Hello everyone, just back from a run in the car along the coast. Stopped at a seaside town and had a picnic lunch by the beach. Picked up our no 3 son and brought him home with us. D has inspected what we're having for dinner and approves (D has Autism) which is fine because it's oven chips and veg wraps for him and Dad- no cooking required. I'm having some cold chicken, ditto. Thanks for the good wishes, my knee is less swollen and painful today after three days rest.

Morning folks, off to mums soon so just a brief hello. I'm glad your knee is a bit better @13lizanne and @ickihun you sound like my brother John, he wasn't diagnosed with Aspergers til he was 26!
