Thanks, @wiseowl_123 you solved a question for me. That Princess Irene tulip has long been a favourite of mine, but I never knew its name and have always called it "The Tiger Stripe one". Needless to say, nobody knew what I meant.

Calling all pond people! Having been out of action for eighteen weeks, I thought I'd test my recovery by digging a small water feature. I'm having a frost free deeper section and shallow margins. Not being up on my pond plants, I wonder if anyone can suggest any? It's next to and slightly below a deck, so I can't screen it from view with anything too tall. (At least not on the long sides).

Rain drenched flowering shrubby tree (think it's a Wattle)and a mob of Rainbow Lorikeets, although you can only see three there are more but they are blending in.

Are you looking for plants to go in your pond or around the edge?
