5.8 seems to be creeping up and I'm being so good
Xx

Welcome to our jolly troop.Hi, new to this forum. My fasting reading this morning was 4.8
You've still had some great numbers whilst enjoying yourself!! well done.5.8 this morning. Heading back home today, so hopefully getting back on track over the next week after a very nice break both in time and of most low carb rules!

Good on ya!!8.1 this morning, had a fasting day so expected it to be higher. I almost caved in and had a carb binge, but I survived!!
Agreed, but take a little comfort from your number, and the chest infection will go, so you'll be left with lovely 4's!!I got 4.9.
Which doesn't make up for a lingering chest infection...
Ickle rascals!!5.5 at 0730. Took the grandchildren out for dinner last night and they force fed me chips.
Don't beat yourself up honey, relax...5.8 seems to be creeping up and I'm being so goodXx
That reading is at the dangerous level. You need to contact your GP urgently.Mine are 24.5 after a good Chinese meal last night
Maximum people get out of the full 2000mg of metformin is 2mmol/l from tablet alone. (So this does not include exercise or diet change affect).9.3 this morning.
Not that I'm expecting a huge amount of change overall with the newly doubled dosage of metformin (2g now), but does anyone know how long it takes this drug to show an effect on BG numbers? Obviously I'm working on the carbs which I've halved in the last few weeks but still looking to keep on reducing to a level that works for me.
