Good Morning

Morning all

Good result yesterday, doctor said I can stop taking the Lipitor until my next blood test at the end of September and see how I get on.

It's raining here this morning, quite miserable in fact.

Morning everyone!

Off out now to see diabetes specialist. I'll update you with developments.
I'm hoping it goes well. It was requested from bariatric surgeon. Gulp!
 
Morning all , hope everyone had a good weekend . Things for us weren't to bad for a change . Saturday morning Ron woke and was unable to move his right hand , Sunday morning woke with chest pain but wasn't to bad throughout the day . Only a few during early evening . This morning woke and couldn't move left hand . We have finally received his face to face medical report from dwp . I'm just going through it all for Ron and have picked up on some inaccuracies .

Morning everyone.

Hope everyone is having a good week. My weekend was full of trama due to ill husband and im hoping he isnt tramatised for ever as he is repeating the event which upset him over 50times now.
I'm trying not to going around the bend with him.

I've woke in a good mood and im rumning bgs a little higher on reduced insulin to help with weight loss.
Had a bit walnut cake after 2hrs of talking about food again in my wear living well eating programme for bariatric surgery.
I had my mind focused but im having to ignore the push for a third of plate to be starchy carbs.
Luckily we will do energy conversion soon which might help me more since I cannot walk much.
Aimed at the other 85% (5others) not only me being diabetic. One said she is prediabetic but she has done all kinds and now doing bariatric surgery.
Not helped with diet properly?
I feel the session just a mop up session for me off 14yrs ago when I was diagnosed.

Anyway had a naughty day yesterday with my family but back to low carb, low fat and maximum metformin and more than 1 fat blocker.

Still looking forward to being slimmer in 2018. Still no date for op as a few more steps to take on tier 3.

Have a lovely day. Miss you all when busy with family. You've be sick of me when resting in winter.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed I survive this winters viruses. Summer viruses a challenge too. 4yr old has a cold (in summer). Humf!
Ps. No palpatations yesterday. Only when restricting my carbs.

Hba1c down from 53 to 51 :) :) :)
Lost more weight and having good daily bg control. More importantly he was delighted with me being on 143units of insulin compared to nearly 300units 4 mths ago.
He still sent me to the lovely dietician on team but I was telling her about what I was eating rather than she tell me.
I great positive praised consultation. He even joked I could be discharged soon.
Of course he is doing my care throughout bariatric surgery. Surgeon doing the op and pre investigations (endoscopy) etc.
Poor anesthatist only has my neck size so far.
I was knocked out for sterialisation 4yrs ago and heard no problems so should be ok.
 
Well done on the reduced HbA1c and reducing your insulin use. Everything seems to be going to plan ahead of your op. @ickihun

No rain here so far today & none forecast, I hope it stays that way as my feet got soaked walking home from work yesterday in my sandals :meh:

Morning all, sorry for my absence this week. I've been spending a lot of time with my brother John and it was mum's birthday yesterday so I've hardly been at home!
 
Morning. Took maximum painkillers this week which caused the drs receptionist to question why I needed refil but I've lost weight since not sofa bound. :) :) :)
See anyone losing on friday weight loss thread. ;)

I'm working until 1pm (covering for holidays) then off to Canterbury in our motorhome for the night. A meal & a few drinkie poos in town :D

Got the results of my eye screening yesterday - all normal

Morning all , Ron's appointment this afternoon has been cancelled probably a good job as he's struggling to walk. He couldn't stand up or move his legs getting up . He's been dragging his right foot and it's very painful. Yet yesterday he was fine all day . He's only just got the use of the foot back. Hope you all have a good day . Weather looking good .

Morning everyone , so a few days ago Ron's leg wouldn't move ,now it's his right arm. Whatever next? Hope your all well and a big hug for those that aren't . Weather not so good this morning , enjoy your day . X
