Heya. Was browsing earlier when I was suddenly logged out and have not since been able to log back in. No such problems on mobile, happily.

Am using Chrome. Have rebooted, cleared cache and cookies, each log in attempt doesnt result in an error message, just a reload of the forum front page.

Help gratefully received, though you should be watching the eclipse! Xx

Sorry @SockFiddler
I don't use chrome as I tried it out a while back and kept having problems, similar to the one you described about login.
To open internet, I now use Internet Explorer. I was using Microsoft Edge, and suddenly it disappeared!!
I would have done just as you have described! My Dad is the expert I turn to when I have laptop gremlins!
But instead of re-boot, try a shut down, give it a break overnight, then re-start in morning... worth a shot!
wish you the best x :)

Sockfiddler, when this happens, it's often a case of clearing history, cache etc, as you already have done. Have you trried restarting your laptop/PC?

If you're still having the issue in the morning, let m e know by either tagging, or PMing me and I'll have a further look into things.

I had a lot of problems with the site a few days ago, but I put it down to W10 update. It was a huge creators update that went on for hours :banghead::rolleyes: and after that I tried to post on the site and all sorts of problems.... so might be site or maybe W10?

Win 7 home ed here. Not much time to try today - new floors and first box run to new house. Then... sleeeeeeeep.

Will try a full reboot, Chrome update, the whole shebang before I bother you later, but thanks x

In and fixed - look, no "Sent from my stupid phone" message!

(Tips for anyone else: you have to clear ALL your chrome cached date - across all your devices - and your entire browsing history. Which is a pain, but I'm bookmark obsessive. It will also log you out of any other websites you use, so be sure to note / save your passwords)
