Seems a bit overkill with all the manpower involved with removal. If it were up to me, I'd just burn a wick from both ends...I do not know much about fatbergs, but I a know a plurry big rat when I see one.

I though of using a bit of explosive on it and blow it to pieces, but most probably would take the sewer with it.
