I've heard that there is a way to change the battery in the "DexcomG4" does anyone know about this? Really need it at the moment but struggling with the price! Thanks Lara
 
I just want to confirm you are referring to the battery in the reader.
I do not have the reader because I use my Animas Vibe pump instead.
However, the transmitter has a limited lifespan. Is the question about changing the battery on the transmitter? Because there is no removable battery on this part.

Not entirely true, they have been hacked to make them replaceable.
