Type of diabetes
Don't have diabetes
I have a few of the symptoms of diabetes.but my test that gives an aveage came back as 40 normal but i do my blood sugars after fasting and they are 6.6 to 7.3 and pre meals are never under 6 and 2 hours after food are never above 10 an i prediabetic or normal should i see a doctor
 
A hba1c of 40 is neither diabetic nor pre diabetic. Pre diabetic is a hba1c of 42 - 47, a hba1c of 48 or over is diabetic.

Under 42, like yours, is not diabetic.

A hba1c of 40 equates to an average blood sugar of 6.7. All of the results you mention seem to be consistent with that. Non e of the numbers you mention create any suggestion of diabetes.

What symptoms are you having? If you are concerned about the then yes you should see a doctor. How did you get a hba1c test without seeing a doctor?

Have you had a HbA1c blood test ? I would say you do not have diabetes even non diabetics can be 10 after a meal and even if your pre meal levels are 6 that is still not diabetes
 
It not good to have BG that high 2hr after meals whatever label to doctors wish to put on you, but the HbA1c is low enough that a doctor will not give you diabetic drugs. I would recommend that you did the low carb problem from this website, learned about carbs, then make an informed choose what you want to eat.
