Hi everybody

Today I have this question
I hope that my questions will not be troublesome to some

Is it possible to meet insulin resistance and decrease in some person ?

Some also know that insulin resistance is often caused by an increase in insulin

Some drugs force the pancreas to produce more insulin, for example (Diamicron)

We know they have extra insulin and Increased insulin caused in some cancers

Doctors sometimes prescribe two types of drugs like metformin and gliclzaid

As we know metformin to solve the problem of resistance and diamecron to produce insulin

It's possible ?

Metformin does not do that totally it is more like a stick to lean at , it mostly works on the liver slowing the rate the liver transforms proteins into glucose and spit adding glucose into our blood , metoformin helps in my case by putting my average morning number down with about 1.2 mmol like from 7.2 down to like 6.0 mmol , just as an example .
What is going on with insulin’s resistance is much more complicated , it seems some signals substances are also contributing, in type 2 most persons liver is also a bit overactive , and according to the Newcastle-cure the liver might be affected from too much fat in the liver too.

By becoming maximum fit muscle wise it seems most can lover their insulin’s resistance with as much as 30% which is excellent but still not the total cure.

When people have a gastric bypass operation many seem to be cured right away which is a riddle , of cause they can eat very little but one would think it would take some period before being cured any way.
I also red of an experiment with dogs , where it showed when a certain nerve was cut signaling between the liver and the kidneys ; these dogs diabetes went away ... also a riddle
Being a total couch potato also damage the muscles in our bodies by not using our muscles that muscles cells does not work optimally and does not as much interact in our blood glucose metabolism like a max fit and daily used muscle would do .

I think using our bodies muscles is equally as important as the metformin in lowering insulin’s resistance and of cause getting our blood insulin’s down many hours of our day by not provoking it to raise = eating low carb and moderate protein and by having many hours of not eating .

Thank you for this helpful reply @Freema

But I think in the end that metformin reducing sugar is helping cells to eat glucose

Metformin for me does so much more than reduce my bgs a fraction. Not just a med for diabetes but a hormone (testosterone) regulator for me. It also changes my tummy fat cells to soft and manageable mass, so I can disperse it when I'm burning fat. It has brought back my periods and fertility. I have been able to have 2 gorgeous boys and then needed to be sterilized. Before I had to rely on IVF
I respect metformin for all its capable of. Not the right drug for everyone thou.

Metformin causes fertility problems ?

Metformin causes fertility problems ?
Solves fertility problems in some. PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome sufferers have insulin resistance and often too much testosterone so hormones not right for ovulation. Metformin trials in London for pcos relief brought back my monthly ovulation capabilities. I'm forever grateful to Mr Savas, Blackheath/Lewisham hospital. :)

Exercise is apparently good for IR.
I'd have to be in constant training athlete to make a dent in mine.

Weight loss (muscle density) for me has helped mine.
