I find carrying my insulin pens and blood tester around difficult because people always ask what they are and although I can talk about it I’m still not really confident about talking about it

Definitely carrying all the diabetes stuff around with me.
Makes just running out the door take longer ... including finding a suitable bag (which goes with what I am wearing).
I would love to just pick up my phone (which I always know where it is) and go.

Edited to add:
Ooops, sorry. Just realised this was aimed at children and teens. Can my answer stay anyway?

why can't everyone get on........
I find remembering to take everything with me every time I leave the house the hardest.
I probably only forget 2 or 3 times a year -- but it is so frustrating getting to a destination and realising I have forgotten one of the bits of kit.

If I'm honest I don't have any of these issues. I got used to it. I get on with it. I accept it there's nothing I can do about it.
