Hello out there.
I have a question for others with Diabetes. I have T2 diabetes now it's been 12 years.I have lots og pain in my shouders and neck. My fisiotherapist says it's due to my diabetes. Can it really be because of diabetes?
I'm om insulin (Apidra and Toujeo) and in the evening i take 2tablets of Slowmet. Though cutting down on Apidra and Toujeo now that I'm doing the 8week blood sugar diet.

Can I ask if you have any concomitant eye problems or new onset headaches?

Thank you very much. The link is very interessant.
I have suffered with frozen should a number of times over the years.

first time was in my early 30's -- it normally is very painful for me for up to a year and then subsides -- my exercises given to me by my physiotherapist are to....

stand at 90 degrees to a wall --place hand on the wall and slide it up as far as you can and then take 1 step forward with the foot furthest away from the wall ( so if left arm sliding up the wall -- then step forward 1 step with right foot )

this helps stretch the shoulder a lot.
( repeat 5 times ) and try to do this once every day.

It's not quite so often both shoulders are 'frozen' at the same time.
With both shoulders affected, you might like to discuss the possibility of polymyalgia rheumatica with your medical professional.
