Type 2 Stevia

Does anyone know how much stevia to use on porridge please
Depends how sweet you want it. Also the brand you were using, as powder and liquid forms differ in strength of sweetness. We all have our own individual preference for taste, so have you tried just using a small amount, tasting, then adjusting as necessary?

I have been using Monin sugar free caramel syrup in my porridge, tea, coffee etc. basically anything that you enjoy sweetened. This is the same stuff that many of the coffee chains use, and is available on Amazon for about 10 quid a liter.

Better to get used to food not being sweet, it doesn't take long to adjust.

If you use stevia you might find it has a weird chemical aftertaste (not everyone has this problem). I find stevia very sweet, so you might need quite a bit less than you think, not that I have porridge, and I don't like the aftertaste - erythritol is almost the same as sugar as regards sweetness/amount and doesn't have that weirdness.

What brand and type would you recommend pip
Sorry, @Suffolkboy69 . When I used to eat porridge I would have it with salt. I don't have a sweet tooth, but did try powdered Stevia in baking for other family members. I think it was spoon for spoon giving same amount of sweetness as sugar by volume, though Stevia weighs less.
Not much help, I'm afraid, but I see other members are chipping in with their knowledge. Hope you find what you need.
