I have just tried to test my gluco nexus rx with the solution and it read 8.0 twice then 7.7 is this right?? I then tested my blood it read 15.6 so I tested on my older tee2 machine and it read 13.6 I’m a little confused could somebody advise please I am type 2 on 30units twice a day.☺️Tia

I cannot comment about the test solution.
However, if you consider meters must comply to a certain standard which is within 15% accuracy.
15.6 and 13.6 are within 15% of 14.5.

Different meters vary slightly which is why is always recommended to stick to one meter to ensure you are comparing apples with apples between readings.

Forgive me if I missed the point.
But
GlucoRx Test solution 8.0, 8.0 , 7.8 - as expected little variance.

GlucoRx with your blood 15.6
Tee2 - With your blood 13.6

The meters in question use differnt enzymes - one a deghydrogenase the other an oxidase - and presumably
the older meter has older strips.

The standards allow for 15% tolerance in certain ranges - more or less in some levels

They are in agreement that you glucose levels are out of range - hyper glycemic - I would just act on this.

I use a glucose nexus meter and find it accurate. The testing solution itself will have an expiry date. Hope this helps

Test solutions give results in a range the range is normally found written on the test strips tub and will be for example :
Normal 4.5 - 8.8
High 11.3 - 17.0

If the particular test solution gives a reading within the given range that is as accurate as it gets.

That’s great thank you John just found that on the tub of strips 6.5 - 8.8 now I understand ty
