Oopsie Bread (1st attempt)

Ha. I just saw the video I will try that when I’m off this fast. Your a star.

The one and only time I attempted to make Oopsie bread they were flat and looked and tasted like omelettes so I never tried them again

The key is to get the egg whites really stiff and the. VERY gently ‘cut&fold’ into the yolk mixture. Never the other way round.

They worked out great. Today I made a hot dog bun sized one because I found a hot dog that only had 1g of carb per dog.
I thought I was never going to see a hot dog again :) .
The same recipe, just elongate the mixture when placing it on the tray. The mixture used in the photo made 1 hot dog bun and two sandwich buns.
Thanks for the site and recipe.

I was going to ask whether they taste like omelette. I experimented with an alternative version of fathead pizza while in a period of eating animal products only. Without almond flour and just using mozzarella, cream cheese and an egg it turned out like pepperoni omelette!

I wish you people would stop this. I CANT COOK

Rights that’s it. I have had enough. I’m reporting this thread and everyone that has posted succesful oopsie bread stories. This is very upsetting to me and it’s a breach of my human rights n sh*t

My first attempt as well.
Small scale test

And to bake them straight away, I found. I tried to make a double portion, and the 2nd batch, which had been in the fridge while the 1st was in the oven, came out flat.

Oh absolutely. Stiff egg whites can’t stay stiff forever.
