Educating Gps

Wonderful step in the right direction.

I suspect that a lot of the information contained in that course will be very new to most GPs and their T2 patients.
Those of us who know about insulin resistance, carbs and controlling carb intake are a very small minority compared with the millions of T2s out there 'in the wild' ;) who are encouraged by their health teams to eat carbs at every meal 'for energy'.

Very true Brunneria, I guess they are still doing the "plate that kills" as I call it with a third of the plate cards at every mral!

Take the pre course assessment (5 questions) and then compare yourself to the GP average score!
Its a quick and easy course and David has done some fab take away info sheets.

Is there a way to access this without registering and giving so much personal information? They even want your inside leg measurement - well it feels like it!

Well I won't be looking at it then. I'm very reluctant to hand over so much personal information.
I guess if you are a GP already then the Royal College already has all your info..whereas for us regular people it looks a bit intrusive..
