Does anyone here have their sharps containers collected by Bromley council? I had a specific number for them when my GP referred me for the sharps containers collection a couple of years ago, but since I have lost the number and the number on their website just rings forever without any answer.

Does anyone live within the borough and have the number they could give me? I have about 10 full containers now due to not being able to get in contact with them!

Thanks!

Have you looked on yourr Council's website? I'm not in Bromley, but my own covers sharps bins under the wider heading of Bins, recycling and rubbish, then through there to Infectious Waste.

Hi, I live in Bromley borough. I cant remember whether my dsn at Bromley healthcare organised this as a regular collection or not, but I just phone up the number on Bromley council website (as in Tipetoo message) "One off clinical waste collections can be requested directly via residents by calling our contact centre on 0300 303 8658 " Mine aren't one off collections, but fairly regular and they do have my details on their records. They have always been helpful and efficient and it is free (Last time anyway although I do hear that some other areas are beginning to charge for this service!) A date is set and I just hand the bin over, or leave it in a safe place, and they leave the new bin. Very easy to do.
