Oh my word. That brought a lot if bad memories back
Liked out of sympathy lol
Oh my word. That brought a lot if bad memories back. I can remember driving to Spain with my mam and dad, I was around 9 years old. We were on the Spanish/French border waiting for me to inject....nearly 2 hours with the tip of the needle just in my stomach and my dad losing the plot with me taking so long to jab myself. Oh the joys lol
I often wonder the same. Long term types 1s, it is a miracle we survived lolI found occasionally the old metal needles would pop off the syringe leaving me wondering exsactly how much was actually administered?
Tha advent of plastic syringes had a smoother action as opposed the old bung resisting & scraping on the glass?
You're starting to make me wonder how I actually survived to the point I started MDI now...![]()
That's funny. I was thinking the same thing! I look at those pics and I am traumatisedI often wonder the same. Long term types 1s, it is a miracle we survived lol![]()

I'm off to Dubai next Monday for a week. Got Frio wallet. As I inject at night I will leave my pen at the apartment. That will be ok won't it?This can happen. Especially when traveling on a plane. (Air pressure.) hence an adiquate air shot needed.
I would suggest investing in a Frio wallet for those hot days. The hotter it gets, the better it seems to work!
