Hi Guys, I am on my second sensor....A US version on my right arm and only has 4 hrs left that reads 110 mg/dl but taking a blood sample of 164 three min later. I have a EU sensor on my left arm that I placed last Saturday but only activated it this morning and performed that same test at the same time 163 mg/dl but taking blood 141. no I did not get the two meters confused Lol. I placed the EU sensor way early as I have read on some forums that it can take up to 3 days to settle in and get some good readings. I have also read that this can also happen at the end of the sensors life. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Thanks

Hi @Capp and welcome to the forums.

As long as your glucose is rising or falling then the Libre will always lag behind actual blood glucose readings. The Libre does not measure blood glucose, it measures glucose in the interstitial fluid under the skin.

If your levels have been flat for a while, you may find that the interstial levels start to converge with actual blood glucose.

you have to calibrate the Libre constantly in order to have an accurate reading
