I was diagnosed T2 last April and I still don't know a lot about this. So I wonder if the pain I experienced today might be one of these.
I often ache when I come home from a walk and I usually take acetaminophen/paracetamol. Today I took two, and then lay down to take a nap, and when I woke up I felt like I was burning all over. This has happened before but it doesn't happen often and I haven't been able to relate it to anything I've just eaten or drunk.
So I started wondering if it could be fibromyalgia but when I Googled that it didn't quite match. Then I started wondering if it could be diabetic neuropathy/nerve pain. It didn't last long and it never became unbearable but I was surprised that the Tylenol hadn't worked.
What did seem to help later was eating a slice of illicit pumpkin cake and drinking about half a pint of milk.
Do different foods cause diabetic nerve pain?
