Decision to abandon LCHF just for Christmas

Personally I plan to stick rigidly to LCHF throughout the holidays. I’m also going to do a 48h fast prior to festivities in order to purge the system and give me a bit of a buffer with which to enjoy heaps of protein. I’m tee total, so no temptation to start knocking back the liquid bread aka. beer :***:

Obviously I understand why others will be having a break though :)

That's my plan for Christmas also. We are staying at a hotel for the first time ever for Christmas and the menu basically looks like a 3 day carb fest. But there is lots of good stuff on the menu and the chef knows I will sticking rigidly to LCHF so there will be lots of protein and lovely cheeses and numerous cups of coffee with cream plus sparkling water because I am tee total also.

Have just got back from a course in London and that is exactly what I did there. I also discovered that I could get a very nice salad from pizza express (chicken, mozzarella, olives, green salad and piquante peppers). Olive oil instead of salad dressing and no croutons or dough sticks. Perfect.
