Have been sticking to lchf quite rigidly but have to attend a party in a Chinese restaurant. I know to keep away from rice, noodle and things cooked in batter, sweet and sour but what can I eat other than roast duck. Any ideas? Its a set menu but as yet I don't know what it includes.... Any advice appreciated.

I’m no expert but Everything is okay in small to moderate servings! One thing I’ve learned quickly is don’t deprive yourself

Roast pork , crispy duck, crispy lamb, seafood but try for steamed or at least not in a sweet sauce and green veg in oyster or garlic sauce. Kai Lan or Choy Sum..

its my experience that western Chinese food is much sweeter than what we enjoyed in China
