Diabetics R Us

Thank you for your kind wishes

Could I ask if you can find it in your hearts to say prayer for him or if not send some positive thoughts his way. It would be appreciated as he is a person of great faith.
I will before bed tonight, when not distracted by the internet and stuff. I'm not religious myself but I'm pretty sure a prayer works good regardless of religion.

Sending both you and your friend a big fat virtual hug as well for good measure, and my prayer will be for finding room in your heads and hearts to fully enjoy things despite of the stupid cancer.

Prayer said (out loud) and I put in lots of good things for both of you. The dogs in my bed were helpful as well and happy to point out the most important moment is now (and now needs cuddles to their thinking) so I made sure to include something about being aware of the good in 'now' regardless of tomorrow.

I think I like this praying thing and I will try it more often.

Sleep well.

Thank you all I will pass your good wishes on to him.

It is strange the connections we make even though most of us have never met.

One ironic thing is as he was telling me yesterday is that his blood sugar levels are now lower than they have been in the last twenty years he has been T2.

Middle son came home with a huge pizza that he shared with his brother. He said he ate too much and felt "shlumpy" while holding a Cornetto. I said that the cornetto would make him feel worse and that he should go for a walk. "Right" said he "I'll eat the Cornetto on my walk!".

He's in his bedroom eating the Cornetto.

Over here that is called a Nutty Buddy or a Drumstick (I think the different names are in different regions).

We are having a spa day here, pedicures all round, and now I just need to get the last of the tuna juice out of the KittenCat's fur (don't ask! - my fault not hers -- thank goodness her coat doesn't stain).

What kind of bizarre cat do you have that it doesn't insist to clean even the last molecule of tuna juice from it's own fur?

Not bizarre at all; like other cats she cannot reach the very center of her back right below her withers. :D

Morning all

@JohnEGreen Sorry to hear about your friend.

We had a lovely weekend away in the motorhome :D but back to work today :meh:

Have a good day.

H :)

Morning, heh. How's your finger?

Quite a drab start to the day here, woke up at stupid o'clock so I'm going to try to and get another hour in before starting my day.

I know you said don't ask but now I need to know. Are you so cruel as to put tuna juice on the one place she can't reach? And did she get some tuna (juice) to make up for that?

On the mend, thanks but the antibiotics are playing havoc with my guts :bigtears:

Does yogurt or a probiotic supplement help with that? May be too late to help once the havoc's kicked in, but may not be ...
