OuchForgot to mention doctor's surgery called me on the telling bone yesterday asking me to go in for a blood test as my neurologist is a bit concerned about my kidney function. Went in and the lady taking the blood couldn't get any from either arm so had to call in some one more experienced so needless to say I now am sporting several little holes and a huge bruise as the vein collapsed after they got the sample.
Good Luck parking it in London!!Morning all
We're off in the motorhome today, back Tuesday. Our friends have hired one for the weekend to see if they like it so we're heading off to London for a couple of days
@JohnEGreen I've had a couple of those bruises from blood tests, I think it's down to the skill of the nurse.
I have watched Eastenders from the start, 1985. Coronation Street has been going since before I was born! (I watch that too).
Have a good weekend folks. "See" you next week.
H
milk it @JohnEGreen .....get him graftingLovely and sunny here this morning but cold. Grandson is coming home for the Easter break on Tuesday so I'm looking forward to that.
Got a list of jobs he can be doing while he's got nothing better to do.![]()
I hope you aren't coming down with something @Guzzler
Could be brewing summat, hope not because the forecast for next week looks good and I'm beginning to get stir crazy again.
Hopefully, stir crazy is a good sign. With me it usually means I'm getting over whatever bug I've had. Hope it's the same for you too.![]()
Thank you. I average about once in every six weeks or so with regard to getting out of the house. In winter it is longer than that (I do not count medical appointments - who wants a day out in a waiting room?). In summer I can get into the garden which suffices. If I am under the weather when it is fine outside it drives me absolutely nuts!
My kids love snow. The more the merrier!I'm about to be off to my family weekend and there's fluffy white stuff falling from the sky.
Asthma kicked off yesterday but today it has been very bad. So back on inhalers.
Awkwardly I've been called in for an annual review at GPs. Humf. I was so keen to tell them I hadn't used them for months, even over the winter months.
It seems to be back with avengence. Chest pains when going anything other than distracted phone games etc. I think seeing GP may have to be done, after all.
Someone sitting on my chest right now. I've refused to call ambulance unless I lose consciousness. Well via Mr ickihun. He's here so unless it becomes unbareable I'm staying cosy under my quilt in the living room. I know if I called 111 they get ambulance for chest pain so I'm off put calling for any advice.
I'll see how it pans out. Again. Humf!
I won't. I'm eating so no nausea, no sweating either but I'm wondering if it's trapped wind as an aching pain inbetween shoulder blades. Please don't mess around with pressure on your chest! Hug.
I've never really discovered why mine kicks off. You?Hi @ickihun
Sorry your asthma is bad again
I'm back on my inhalers again and doctor took asthma nurses advice and has put me back on the preventer again which helps.
Thanks Carol. I'm having a fizzy water to try and shift it.This is definitely not medical advice but I find that a hot water bottle between my shoulder blades or on my tummy can clear aches and uncomfortable feelings sometimes making me burp ( medical term !!!) Worth a try and won't do any harm .Hope you feel better soon otherwise it may be 111
Carol
