Hello. I don't know if anyone can help me please. I've taken far too much long acting insulin this morning What do I do?

It happens. All you can do now is keep checking your blood glucose and make sure that you have carbs to hand to compensate if needed.

How much have you overdosed by?

Thank you. I've taken my normal dose of 24units and a extra 14 units
 
I cannot give you direct advice - but you'll need to make a judgement call on whether to reduce your bolus ratio whilst you have the extra insulin on board.

As I said - keep checking !
 
Yep - just keep a much closer eye on your levels than you normally would and have your hypo treatment f choice at hand. We've all done it. I've got one red pen and one green. I'm not colourblind. I still double inject the red (levemir) by accident occasionally.

Welcome to the forum.

These things can happen.

The advice above is sound. Keep a close eye on your BGs. Keep some fast acting carbs with you.
Also, you may need to snack should you see a downward trend with your BGs? A digestive biscuit can work for this.
