So is it possible to feel high as a kite sugar wise but actually have normal sugars.

Been out and about, had panini for lunch but felt fine (didn’t test)
Then had raspberry muffin didn’t test but felt fine

Then had gourmet burger kitchen, major tom burger but bunless do loads of coleslaw and salad, had dressing on and some sweet potato fries (not huge amount as shared with friend) but I felt lousy.

Tired, wobbly felt bit slurry speech wised thought I must have gone really high but after 90 mins I’m at 8.3 (haven’t tested all day to know what I was before)

Have done loads of walking.

I wouldn't say 8.3 is 'really good'.

I wonder what it was at 60 minutes...

Would it have dropped that significantly in 30 minutes?

To be fair I still feel like I’m highish! Maybe I’m just exhausted but it feels high

Compared to how high I expected it to be it was.
Sorry but if you expected it to be higher then why did you make those food choices and not test into the bargain?
At least you know that muffins plus sweet potato may not be quite the right foods for you?

U did really well to be 8.3 if I'd eaten some of the items I'd imagine I'd be 15 plus.
R u T1 and how much insulin r u on if any

Because I was out and for lunch there wasn’t really anything else and for dinner I thought my choices were quite good.

I meant I felt it was really high hence why I was expecting high.

I’m not perfect and I make mistakes.

It was just a question

@Cana maybe you were feeling so symptomatic because you were expecting to be that high? Sometimes the mind is capable of playing tricks on us, and making us feel stuff that’s not quite true. Maybe you were 10+ at some point, tired because you had a busy day, then you thought your sugars would be high so you became a bit hyper-aware of your body.

Don’t think so. I expected it with the panini and muffin but felt nothing.

With the meal I didn’t really because I figured it was an ok meal. Only bad but was sweet potato fries and that wasn’t many.
