Darn it!

Made a beef rage from that book recommended on here and cooked the cabbage papadelle.

Cabbage thing has 7g of carbs ☹️☹️

So much for me having less carbs!!

Grr!

Cabbage (chopped) has roughly 5 grams of carbs per cup, of which 3 are fibre (net = 2g), so unless you are eating a massive plate full of it at one serving, or trying to keep your carbs to almost zero, there is not too much to worry about.

How much cabbage is there.. ?
With 4g of carbs per 100g .. cabbage doesn't weigh a lot...

I thought all carbs were bad.

But what - if anything - did that cabbage do to your glucose levels??

ETA It's not that carbs are all essentially bad, it's what they can do to your glucose levels that's the issue. So if you choose to eat some carbs, take heed of the results you see on your meter , and use the information you gain from them to manage your carbohydrate consumption.
